Struffoli
Ingredients: 3 eggs
50 gr.zucchero
a glass of anise
a sachet of vanilla
grated lemon peel 500 gr.
flour a pinch of salt
250 gr. honey
a pinch of baking powder

Preparation:
Forming a fountain with the flour, put three eggs, 50 gr. butter, 50 g. sugar, a glass of anise, a packet of vanilla sugar, lemon peel (or orange) peel, a little salt, a pinch of baking powder. Working until the dough comes off the hands.
form a stick tube and cut into small pieces, fry in hot oil, turn it up and put them in a colander with paper towels.
When all the pieces have been fried, take a pan and put 250 gr. of honey to dissolve a little over a low heat, then add the struffoli. Turn for about ten minutes.
remove from the pan and place them in a hot pot. Embellish them with cedar, candied fruit, devils, white and silver confetti.
